Player and producer Alec Baldwin accidentally shot and killed the director of photography of the movie "Rust" on a New Mexico motion-picture show attack Thursday, according to a news release issued past the Santa Fe Sheriff's Department.

In a search warrant filed in court Friday, investigators said Baldwin was handed a loaded gun by an assistant director who did non know information technology was loaded.

Friday morning, Baldwin, 63, tweeted that he is "fully cooperating with the law investigation" and said "there are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic blow that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and securely admired colleague of ours."

Sheriff'due south officials said deputies reported to the fix on the Bonanza Creek Ranch in Santa Fe soon before two p.thou. local time subsequently getting a 911 call.
